Arthur Kearney, PMHNP, ANP is a Nationally Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), and an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP). He is also licensed in both Oregon and Washington. Mr. Kearney graduated from University of California, Riverside, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master Degree in Environmental Administration. He received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loma Linda University and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He also earned a Post-Master Degree from the Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at California State University Long Beach. Mr. Kearney was a Registered Nurse Research Assistant at UCLA. As an ANP, he provided on-site urgent care, behavioral health, and injured worker medical management for the Boeing Company. Mr. Kearney managed two public health clinics for the Department of Public Health in Santa Barbara County. He worked as a PMHNP in the general out-patient clinic and provided Emergency Room services at the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial VA Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA. He then worked full-time and conducted research in the out-patient Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Specialty Clinic at the West Los Angeles Veteran's Medical Center in conjunction with UCLA. He has also worked with out-patients and psychiatrically hospitalized patients, as well as provided medical consultation services, for Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, OR. Most recently, Mr. Kearney worked at the Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic in Bellingham, WA. Mr. Kearney provides initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management to adult patients and treats all behavioral health diagnoses. His patient care model is based on a supportive, non-judgmental personal empowerment approach.
